Health and Well Being Week
The children have been taking part in a variety of activities across the week, exploring ways in which they can be healthy and manage their own well being.
Monday - Circuit training and making Worry Dolls
Children took completed a variety of exercises, seeing how many they could complete in 2 minutes. They also made worry doll and had circle time looking and discussing their worries.
The children looked at belonging, they spilt into their teams and all made a design personal to themselves, which they painted onto their own pebble. We also had a karate display from Kernow Karate.
Today we focussed on healthy Eating and Mental well being.
Mrs Annear led assembly looking at top tips to keep a healthy mind. All the classes then made a variety of healthy food, including soup, cereal bars, fruit kebabs and smoothies. We then has a tasting session in the hall. Everyone loved the healthy recipes.
We learnt new dances that we performed at our sharing assembly.
Class 1 danced to 5,6,7,8
Class 2 danced to the Macarena
Class 3 danced to the Hokey Cokey
Class 4 danced to YMCA
